Dragon Boating Festival

I would like to thank all staff involved in the Dragon Boating Festival on Friday.

Hanson had over 65 students involved in the event across KS3,4,5 and the ARC.

We were the most represented school at the event, our students behaved impeccably all day and were a credit to us.

The Sixth Form team won a team work award as our students helped out other teams who who were short of participants – the junior police & Pakistani consulate teams who couldn’t thank us enough.

The ARC students (and staff) had a fantastic experience, KS3 came 3rd overall in their category, Sixth Form won their category, and KS4 came 3rd out of the whole event.

The T&A covered the event and had great pictures of some of our students on their website.

Overall really positive for the school.
